Saumya Agrawal, Postdoctoral Researcher from Laboratory for Applied Computational Genomics, won the best poster prize at The 13th International Workshop on Advanced Genomics (13AGW) .

This prize is given to the researcher that has presented their novel work and well explained it to both the international and the local audience. The international workshop on Advanced Genomics is organized by The Genome Technology Committee 164. The committee has vigorously conducted activities to advance social implementation of genome technology between industry and academia, such as study groups and international conferences. The international workshop is placed every second year, and this 13th workshop aimed to outline the latest developments in genome technologies, with the theme of "Genome to Health".
