Dr. Yoshiaki Usui, Special Postdoctoral Researcher of the Laboratory for Genotyping Development, received the Best Oral Award at the Human Genetics Asia 2023.

This year's Human Genetics Asia 2023 was held in collaboration with the 68th Annual Meetings of the Japan Society of Human Genetics (JSHG), the 14th Asia Pacific Conference on Human Genetics (APCHG), and the 22nd Annual meeting of East Asian Union of Human Genetics Societies (EAUHGS) .

Dr. Usui received the Best Oral Award for his presentation "Large-scale evaluation of germline variants among 11 thousand gastric cancer patients and 44 thousand controls ".
