On June 24, 2013, Dr. Naoka Itoh-Nagato, Researcher of Laboratory for Immune Regulation, received the Abstract Award at the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology –World Allergy Organization (EAACI-WAO) Congress 2013 held in Milan, Italy.  Only one poster abstract from each session was selected for the Abstract Award, and her presentation “High rate of desensitization and tolerance induction by rush oral immunotherapy for anaphylactic children with egg allergy: a randomized controlled trial” was selected as the best abstract in the “Clinical studies in allergen-specific immunotherapy IV” session of the congress.
