[Introduction]
Single Cell Science Symposium 2018 "Single Cell Technologies Toward Human Health" will be held on October 9th, 2018.
The Single Cell Science Symposium will be held on October 9, 2018 at Jiji Press Hall at Ginza, Japan. The symposium addresses advanced technologies for single cell analysis in genomics and their applications on clinically relevant human tissues. The symposium also addresses exciting computational approaches on the single cell data and its goals to meet the needs of medical communities in Japan. This meeting will bring together scientific leaders in single cell biology and introduce new projects that will launch as part of the Human Cell Atlas Japan.

[概要]
2018年10月9日、銀座の時事通信ホールにて、シングルセルサイエンスシンポジウム2018「シングルセル解析技術とヒトの健康」を開催いたします。
本シンポジウムでは、ゲノミクス分野における最新のシングルセル解析技術およびヒト組織への臨床応用の可能性について取り上げます。また、ヒトの全細胞（約37兆個）について、種類・状態・系統などを最新の1細胞解析手法によって分類し、カタログ化することを目的とした国際プログラム「Human Cell Atlas（HCA）プロジェクト」が全世界的に進行している中で、理化学研究所が中心となって立ち上げを検討している「日本版HCAプロジェクト」の一端を紹介するとともに、シングルセル解析により得られた研究データがどのように日本の医科学研究において有益なリソースとなりうるか、その具体的なニーズについても議論を行いたいと考えております。沢山の皆様のご参加をお待ちしております。
