79Date and Time: 10:00~16:30, Oct 21th, 2023Place: RIKEN Yokohama Campus/ Yokohama City University latest achievements undertaken at the RIKEN Yokohama Campus, and promoting understanding of national research among the public. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, last year’s event was held in a hybrid format, however, this year was con-ducted entirely on-site. Admission is based on pre-registration, starting from September 1st, and the 2000 person capacity was filled within two days. Moreover, for events subject to a prior lot-tery system among the 2000 attendees, an additional lottery was conducted. Regarding the six events organized by IMS, four were subject to a prior lottery system. On the day of the event, the total number of visitors were 1295.IMS participated by exhibiting the following six events, with 11 teams in total. Below is a list of the events and attendance for IMS events (The numbers of attendees for the poster session and “Let’s watch the moment of Fertilization” was not counted).Tsurumi Campusyoung researchers develop a mindset that will enable them to consider entrepreneurship as a future development of their re-search results. The ultimate goal for this series is to enable young researchers to take action with confidence by providing them with a concrete image of the path to entrepreneurship, the incentives they will receive if they succeed, and examples of successes and fail-ures and their causes.This year’s theme was “Various ways of deploying research results”, which included learning about the state of drug discovery trends in the pharmaceutical industry and biotech, and new busi-ness models that work with researchers to find ways to implement research results in society.
