Research Area

Based on genome wide technologies developed at RIKEN, with emphasis on recent technological advances such as single cell transcriptome analysis and enhancer expression analysis, we analyze gene regulation with focus on clinical and medical applications. This includes exploration of the transcriptional effects of regulatory molecules at the cellular level, and profiling clinical samples in order to identify regulatory networks perturbed in disease states.
