FANTOM6.  More than half of the transcriptome is considered non-coding. While few examples highlight their importance in gene regulation, 98% of them remains functionally uncharacterized. FANTOM6 aims to comprehensively catalog the functional features of lncRNAs in multiple human cell types.

Human Cell Atlas.  This global initiative aims to map all cell types of the human body by applying single cell genomic technologies. The cell atlas will become a powerful reference for drug discovery, prediction and prevention of diseases, and redefining the meaning of a “cell type”.
