YCI Program

The Young Chief Investigator (YCI) Program selects young researchers of excellence and provides them with a career path that allows independently pursuit of research interests and development of leadership skills with various budgetary and research support.

Joint Graduate School Program

Under RIKEN's International Program Associate program, IMS laboratory leaders host international students from collaborating graduate schools and supervise their Ph.D. program as Joint Supervisors.

IMS Internship Program

Under this program, IMS accepts a few exceptional young scientists from abroad as interns for up to three months and provides them with opportunities to conduct research activities in suitable host laboratories.

International Summer Program

Each summer, some 40 young researchers and graduate school students from around the world participate in our summer program, where they attend intensive seminars given by leading international immunology experts. A number of program participants also take part in a post-program summer internship at IMS.
